After visiting Nic and Renno’s farm in the summer to learn how they have implemented a rotational grazing system supported by trees and hedges we thought we’d go back and see them at a less picturesque time of year.
This visit will take place just before the cattle go inside for the winter, we’ll walk the farm and discuss extending the shoulders of the season, keeping cows out for longer, building a wedge, daily shifts, water, fencing, when to move and bale grazing.
This is a free outdoor event and will involve walking across pasture, through gates, over some small streams and potentially through boggy areas. Please get in touch to discuss any accessibility requirements.
