Products from the Temperate Rainforest - Charcoal Burn and Woodland walk
Join us on October 31st for an opportunity to learn about products from temperate rainforests with the Coppice Coop.
As part of our Cumbrian Rainforest Project, we have arranged a day with the Coppice Coop to look at what woodland products can be sourced from a temperate rainforest. The day will be run by Angus Walsh (Cumbria Woodlands) and James Benson (Coppice Co-op) and will start with a demonstration charcoal burn, beginning at 9am. There will be the opportunity to find out more about what products are derived from the Cumbria rainforest. Once the kiln is lit, there will be time for lunch, followed by a walk in the neighbouring woodland, led by experienced foresters from the Coppice Co-op.
When? 31st Oct, 09:00-15:00
Where? The Coppice Co-ops Yard (The Depot, Slack Head, Milnthorpe LA7 7BA)
