Want to learn more about rainforests?
Join us on the 27th of September for a walk around Haweswater and 'An Introduction to Temperate Rainforest' with Angus Walsh (Cumbria Woodlands) and Bill Kenmir (Cumbria Connect/RSPB).
We had a great turn out for the rainforest seminars at the Westmorland Show Forest Festival, so it's very exciting to be able to offer a trip out into the landscape of the Haweswater Valley and learn more about these habitats.
These events allow attendees to spend time in special places with experts on hand to help better understand the flora and fauna of these habitats, as well as exploring the opportunities and challenges they face. There are opportunities to ask questions and really get to know an area, those people involved and the projects and organisations working to protect and restore them.
This event is FREE to attend and bookings can be made here- BOOK HERE
